The new Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) came into force on January 15, 2019, with various requirements being phased in over a period of 12-30 months.
Last week, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) sent out a reminder for the manufactured food sector of the new regulations relating to licensing, preventive controls, and traceability that came into effect on July 15, 2020.
